I mentioned the banana overdose problems.  Just would hate to see everyone on here suddenly discussing their swollen ankles and feeling bloated as a result of eating bananas every day!

Great to hear you got a better nights sleep. I only got 4hrs then I was up crafting again. I find my leg is too uncomfortable to be able to stay in bed once I wake up. Have got my first physio today so expect to be really tired tonight.

I had a banaba before bed and still woke at 2.30, 4.30 and 5.30 , bathroom visit and then decided enough was enough at 5.30 got up. Made a cup of tea, massaged my leg/s had another cup of tea and read my kindle for a while. Had breakfast at 8, now to decided what to do for the rest of the morning. Craft group in the village this afternoon and this evening going to a miniature club (dolls houses) tonight so will have lots of chat and a project to make or bring home to do another day.  I will say I feel more rested.

Glad you had a good nights sleep. I have lots of bananas and as long as I make sure I drink plenty of water as well, no problem with fluid retention. Yes you have to keep going to the loo, but that's good exercise and your body needs the water. I generally sleep from 10.00 until 5.00 , cannot get out of the habit of getting up early, but I do occasionally have an afternoon nap if I have done a lot.

I eat one or two bananas a day & have no problem with fluid retention.  If anyone does, I would have the Doc check your kidney function.  Renal disease is a very silent  problem, only picked up when down to 10%.
