hi Liam I've been taking 20mg for 6 months now and even now I'll still have the odd wobble now and again. When I do feel a bit weird I try to relax because I know what's happening. Stick with it because they are working.

thanks for your replies. I'm going back to doctors today as this headache feeling I have in my head just feels to much for me to deal with 24/7 I'm also going to look into going for cbt therapy see if that helps I had a good month on citalopram now feels back where I started.

Hi Liam
I was getting headaches too after taking my citalopram dose, I never used to, they lasted a couple of weeks but they have stopped now. I know how worrying it is because you imagine all sorts of horrible things. Side effects seem to come in stages for me one week it could be headaches, another week nausea, lightheadedness and so on. Three months is still early days and you will get blips. When I first started taking citalopram I felt great for years. It was only when I tried to stop and restart them my problems began. I don't know what dose you are on, maybe a slight adjustment is needed. I've ready posts here where people have been on high doses and have felt better by reducing it slightly, something you could discuss with your GP perhaps. Best wishes😊
