Been on flu for 4 weeks had the usual side effects of loss of appetite, shakes and nausea. Last week they eased off but now have come back with a vengeance. Has anyone else experienced this x

Hi Claire .. that’s just normal for this med, it’s very slow working med so it could take a few months to start settle down some what..
I’m on 60mg and it tuk me till going up to that and 3mths for me to feel good again, when I was on 20 I had good days then bad, so just be aware that’s how this drug goes, it will settle and when it does it’s a good med to be on, keep going, as you’ve come this far now, just take each day as it comes, you will get there big hug 🤗x

Although it is absolutely horrible I find it very reassuring that others are experiencing the same as me and to read that people have come through it. I’ve been on Flu 3 and a bit weeks. I’m shattered all the time and apart from very brief periods of let up feel anxious all the time, awareness of heart beat and shaky. I’m 39 and I’m sure hormones don’t help! My husband is being an absolute star but just want to feel like me again. Wish we could just fast forward a few weeks x
