Benign swelling one side base of tongue

I have had extreme dysphagia (difficulty swallowing normal food along with constant feeling of a large lump in my throat) for 4 months now. This also causes me occasional ear and chest pain. I began with the gastroenterologist who completed a barium swallow and endoscopy, all they found was minor GERD. I then proceeded to the ENT who discovered I have base of tongue swelling on one side. They originally acted like this would definitely cause the symptoms I am having. Now that I had a CT scan of my neck along with a biopsy and we know the swelling is not cancerous, they now say they can't help me. I am at a complete loss, I can barely eat and have lost 20 pounds. I have a beautiful family and young children and really want to get back to being myself for them. There was an event that I believe set this whole thing off but not sure if the issue can be resolved. I don't feel I am being listened to. Any advice much appreciated. Thank you!
