Bilirubin

Hello. New to this site. I had my gallbladder removed a few months ago and the liver readings went back to normal from very high. But the bilirubin has jumped around a bit and ATM is quite high. I'm guessing that this might have something to do with the bile now using the commn bile duct. I might have it all wrong though. My other liver readings were ok. The bilirubin in today's test was 41 but has been mostly in the normal range. It tends to jump around. I've also had a large section of my bowel removed just over four years ago due to bowel cancer. Any thoughts? Dr is not bothered I think, but mentioned Gilbert's disease or syndrome.
