Black spot and red blood under toenail

So i bite my toenails (i know, thats nasty and they look horrible) but a few days ago I noticed a black spot on my big toe. Its gotten a little bigger and pressing on it earlier I have some red blood beside the bruise now. It doesn't hurt at all. Im not sure if I did it biting my nails or how it happened. Reading online im now worried about Melanoma, since I have health anxiety. I posted a pic below. Anybody think this is from possibly biting my toes or from something else?

    It sounds like a subungual hematoma which is basically just a blood blister. I had one under my toe nail once which was quite painful from the pressure under my nail. It did eventually burst which relieved the pain and drained the blister which lead it to heal.
