Blepharitis and Dry Eye

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been prescribed Lacri-lube ointment that I have to put into the affected eye at night.  It is very difficult to administer as it comes out like a piece of elastic and goes everywhere but into the eye.  Does anyone have any experience of this ointment and tips on how to get it in there without so much wastage and more success?  Help!

Do't have anyone to help me, and most people would be very reluctant and afraid to come anywhere near someone else's eyes, anyway!

Hi tallulah: I would take the prescribed ointment to your pharmacy and asked them to put it for you every day as prescribed by your doctor. or ask your doctor to send you a nurse at home to do it for you so that you will not have any problem with it.

    GOOD LUCK WITH IT.
