Bloated and Constipated

I have been so so bloated and constipated for the past few days. It seem nothing i take is helping me to have a bm...My stomach feeels so uncomfortable , bloated, tight and the liver/ gallbladder area feels heavy, and achiness for the past week. This is my usual period time but no period for 4 months. I was feeling so much improvement and all of a sudden everything changed . These symptoms have been going on so long I feel so depleted and worned out from it. I mean it's not like some women every other day or may be a few days a week but with me it's been basically every day for a year and a half until recently 3 months ago I started seeing a holistic dr and for the first time I started to feel better until he started a cleanse with my liver... It seem to aggravate all my symptoms again. I wanted to only ask about the bloated but just wanted to vent.. Thanks for listening.

Hi Mary - I feel your pain I really do! It’s seems everyday it’s a new issue. For me, right now I feel this unbelievable weird sensation like my rib cage is sitting on top of my intestines, I thought maybe it was a hiatal hernia, but I have no pain, just like things have shifted, kinda like when you were 9 months pregnant!!! What has helped me in the past with the bloat & uncontrolable gas is activated charcoal - also, when I take my probiotic & magnesium it seems to free things up if you get my drift...hope that helps! This is one stupid amusement park ride! So over it! Now I wake up & my eyelids have no elasticity left in them, because all the oil has been sucked out of my skin!!! My skin was the only thing I had going for me! ugh!

Hi Mary! I started drinking prune juice for the constipation.. it does really help without cramping up your stomach like the laxatives do... maybe try about 4 to 6 ounces .. hope you feel better soon 💕💕🙏

I get the same at certain times of the month. I have taken a detox tea which has really helped shift things... I take them throughout the day. Try it but this is part of the course also and it is awful to be bunged up. Hang tight. You are not alone. CK

Besides daily magnesium, I also take a digestive enzyme with my meals. I find that helps that bloated distended feeling I get. I will have weeks of feeling utterly awful and then it will lift for no reason and my digestion seems to get back to normal. It is so difficult when just the act of eating is no longer enjoyable. I understand.
