Bloating anytime I eat please help I've tried everything

Ok so I bloat every time I eat and I mean anything. And apple.. Toast.. Chicken... Crisps whatever I can be so healthy and still bloat. The only food I know that doesn't effect me is a salad which is (spinach, carrots, pepper, cucumber) went to the doctor and he said it was IBS. I first noticed it when I was 16 I'm not 18 and felt a lot more curious about it now!. I took wheat out my diet for 4 months and I still bloated on GF foods. I haven't took It further since I was told I had IBS cause I'll just get myself paranoid. I've taken digestive enzymes and probiotics they didn't even help. I really want to find s conclusion on my own as doctors just think your paranoid! I am a female 18 non smoker. 7stone 6. Please don't tell me It's all in my head because it's not!! Thank you smile

    what dugestive enzymes did you take megan? I hope you can find these: papaya,cardamom,fennel, aloe ferox, and wormwood.. have time to read each of its benefit and when taken combined it will work best for you.. at least strat with papaya.. smile I am just a mesage away if you need more info .. all the best!

    I am sure it is not in your head. I think you are going to have to play around with food to see what works and what does not. Are you under stress? Anxiety plays a much larger part in my illness than I wanted to admit.

    Dear Megan, I have had your problem since I was late teens. Now I am 72 and can just about understand it. No way can I eat bread. I found that nothing startling happened immediately but it seemed to build up and after about a week my problems would start of bloating, cramps probs with toileting. My first specialist told me I wasn't having enough roughage which made it even worse, because anything causing gas causes me problems. Colofac antispasmodics always work for me,, I just take one when I feel a spasm coming on. I know it doesnt work for some but it has worked for me for about 30 years,, (Dont take them all the time just when I need one) I use charcoal tablets if I get bloating. Junk food upsets me too. But, as long as you eliminate any serious condition by consulting your doctor, or, seeing a specialist if you are not satisfied, then don't panic you will work out what you can and can't eat. Weird things can set me off, hot drinks, certainly the bean family or greens and I have to peel fruit because I don't tolerate the peel, but, it doesn't mean I stop eating them all together. Just plan before you go anywhere. You really need to beware of all roughage, which of course we need so experiment and dont panic!!!
