BM talk again !!!

7 weeks on I am still having trouble going to the toilet !!!
Still on Movicol and docusate and they are working fine - stools are very soft !! It is the actual going which is the issue.
After a chat with Matron I did feel like I am in the process of having to retrain me and my body on how to actually have a BM as its not worked like that for a lot of years. I will have an Ok day where I feel sort of in control but would never describe myself as having emptied my bowels and then the next day it will be like I have been superglued and regardless of the fact I know it is all sat there and soft there is nothing I can do to get it out !!! In the past before surgery when I have had that feeling I would just push the bulge in the vagina !! I hate the fact that this is coming into my head as that's when I panic the prolapse is back !!! I do feel like everything moves feeling like its pushing out again when I try to go and I know this sounds like a really stupid question but define straining !? Surely I have to push a bit !?
Sorry definitely on a down day - not coping aswell today with the BM issues !!

i almost feel like pushing on my perineum to get it out like before I had the repair. And it's so tempting to strain but I'm totally paranoid of the repair failing.
Today im completely constipated Ive had a feel inside and there's no bulge back I don't think, but I can feel the poo in my vagina through the walls, can anybody else?? Is this normal or is it a sign of the rectocele coming back?
im in the process of cutting out dairy and wheat for various reasons
Β and when I'm strict with what I eat my bowl works well but otherwise it's just like before! God it's depressing thinking about poo all the time!Β

Yes I am fed up of being so obsessed about my bowels !!
I am not quite brave enough yet to have that much of a feel haven't quite got past the 'bump' at the entrance but I'm assuming without the prolapse you would feel the pressure on the wall ! But I honestly don't know but that's more because I can't remember what it should all feel like !!!
I don't know whether Matron would agree but if after a couple of days I haven't been and I feel a lot of pressure in my rectum I use a suppository just a glycerin one ! I do have micro enemas too I've tried not to use them !
I am doing my pelvic floor exercises like Matron advised and hold on to when somebody can't remember who said it took them until 12 weeks to really start seeing things settling into a normal routine with their BMs !!
