Here is Inspire. It is another forum. I got this email this morning. They are at least trying to improve the user experience and create a U.S. based group to advise them on user interfacing and other things. They are asking for people who care to be advisors to help improve their site. Thought you may have interest in what they are doing.
We want Inspire members to have the best experience possible when they use the site. your opinions are the best resource for making Inspire enjoyable and easy to use. To this end, we are looking for members to join our User Experience Advisory Team (UXAT).
What is User Experience (UX)?
User Experience encompasses everything about what it's like to use or interact with things, from the websites you browse to the devices you use and even how you navigate through the aisles of the grocery store. User Experience researchers seek ways to make all these things and more as easy and intuitive to use as possible.
What am I signing up for?
The UXAT is an initiative to understand how members use Inspire, identify improvements and new features, and help us prioritize. UXAT members will receive offers to participate in unique research opportunities, such as surveys, interviews focus groups and user testing. You may choose to participate in as many or as few of these opportunities as you would like. Many of these opportunities will include compensation, such as gift cards.
UXAT members may also opt out of this intiative at any time.
What privacy protections are there?
This research will be primarily for internal use by Inspire in order to improve the website and overall member experience. Your individual responses will only be reported in aggregate or deidentified form, unless you give us express permission to use them in some other way (for example, we may ask if we can publicize a quote from you).
How do I sign up?
Click on the Sign Up button to learn more and join the UXAT.
We will ask a few questions to get to know you, then you will begin receiving emails to participate in UXAT opportunities as they become available.

Slow as in not a lot of people posting. I used to follow the FLA thread but it's so big with new posts intermingled with old posts it's very hard to find new posts. I also used to follow a few other threads like the REZUME one but once they get big it becomes difficult. I surf/post mostly from my phone which makes it much tougher. I frequent quite a few sites. Many of them with 1000s of post in a single thread. I can easily find the newest posts because theyre at the end of the thread. Of course this is only my opinion and i will continue to use this site but there has to be other sites for men's health.
J12080 I do use inspire and find it easy to navigate with helpful info sometimes. The site is geared towards prostate cancer so sometimes the conversations don't apply to me. Hopefully they never will.

I have been on dozens of internet forums over the years and the software that this one uses is by far the worst for following a thread. Anything more than 50-100 posts becomes very difficult to find the most recent posts. Even sorting by most recent isn't always helpful. Not much we can do about it.
