Had these too when I was coming off Citalopram. Try jot to let it worry you,it's quite normal when coming off a medication. I know it's a bit uncomfortable but so long as you keep in mind that it's perfectly normal,it happens to lots of us. They don't  tend to long xxx

If you come off Venlafaxine too quickly then you will get the brain zaps.  I came off cold turkey once and got them.  Last year I withdrew over 10 monthsd and got no withdrawals at all.  Everyone says they get brain zaps when they come off too quickly.  May gon on for some time.  Your body is now coping with withdrawal and new drug, so it is having a job at the moment.

It may continue a while, but it is usual.  Horrid feeling though!!  I hope you are tapering off slowly, but I think if you are getting the zaps you are doing it too fast.

I have done what Dr told me, half dose last week then half dose of new sertraline this week was fine up until yesterday waiting for a phone call from doctors now

Let us know how you get on.  Please slow down with your withdrawl, as you are doing it much too fast.

I eventually saw a doctor today and they have advised me not to take any more venlafaxine and i havent got any anyway.  They think its the  sertraline and i need to keep taking that

Same. When I've not taken for a few days I got brain zaps, they are not nice but do go.

may be have to taper off slower, or cut tab in half for a day or two.
