Brand name Zoloft... Can there be different batches?

i don't know how this is possible but i take 50 mg of the brand name Zoloft and i have been for over 10 years. sometimes it feels like it's working as it used to. but then I'll get another prescription of the brand name 50 mg and it feels like it's not as effective. and i still have some that feel like they work. and I'll compare the two and i get that feeling the new prescription isn't working. i try to convince myself they're the same and it's in my head only to feel different each time i take them. i wonder if there's a bad batch or something effected the meds. otherwise if I tell the doctor they'll say I've gotten used to 50. but that doesn't explain why some of previous prescription still works. I'm not sure why this and if anyone else has experienced something like this before.

but ultimately i want to come off the medication and maybe try living in France. I'm in Orange county, California now so that would be a big change. but maybe there i could kick my Zoloft addiction and disappear to my more withdrawn self like i was before i started zoloft back in 2006. has anyone lived in France before? how do you like it?
