Breast pain anyone?

It seems like every day or week bring a new symptom in this peri (my health anxiety is being tested!)...

The last couple of days I've had breast pain. Sometimes they hurt when I touch them, sometimes just one breast hurt, stabbing pains, throbbing pain, you name it, sometimes both of them hurt.

Has any of you ladies experienced anything like that?

Is it due to hormonal fluctuation?

Hello I'm going through the same thing. It has been going on for quite awhile for me. I have done a mammogram and ultrasound and the doctor told me that it was hormones. So just another wonderful thing to deal with in the life of peri/meno. Try not to worry yourself too much. If you find that you are then make an appointment to ease your mind 😃 Take care and know that you are not alone.

I had this for 3 weeks. My boobs were so swollen and sore. My coworkers wanted to know if i got a boob job. I had a very lite period this week, only 2 days hardly anything and they went back down.

I am 1 year and 4 month without a period and I am having what you described. It is stressing me out. My upper back will hurt too. Both breast will ache, then one side of one will have pain, then the inside of one will have pain, then they both will ache and feel sore. This has been going on for about a week and a half. It is worrying me to death. I had very severe perimenopausal symptoms that has left me extremely anxious about my health. All past mammograms have been clear. All my past test have been clear. I am due for my mammogram this year but I have to get my Dr referral first for insurance purposes. This is my the annual hoop to jump.

My Dr is very popular now, so I have an appt tomorrow with her FNP. Still it means it will be awhile before I have any answers. The temptation to go to the ER is strong. Then I can skip all the waiting for blood test and scans and whatever else.

I bought a smaller purse, I even bought new bras (last night) in hopes it may help. I am desperate.

Everything I find is for women still having their periods or are just starting to skip their periods. It makes my issue even more scary and worrisome and make me feel like a freak. I don't feel I can post in the 66 perimenopause site anymore because I am no longer in peri.
