Liz it's heaven!!! Lol but will feel odd. Helps with all the dead skin too, as I had loads. Yuk. As I got bath bench I just sat for ages with nice warm shower running a dishwasher put plug in the bath so saved water and my foot thought it was on holiday! 😊 happy days... ??. Roll on your 2 week wait it's worth every minute. It's a great feeling. Sx

Wow!! That's sounds exciting. Can't wait to have a proper bath. Have been having mini showers... My appointment is in 10 days and I hope they will put me on boot and this cast removed. Before bath was a normal thing but since more than a month now with no proper bath it's a luxury 😁

Thanks Sandra. Hopefully...
don't know until I see the dr in 10 days. I have very minimum pain and no painkillers since more than a week now. I am moving around on the knee scooter and sitting on sofa etc. It's just the swelling and only pains if any wait on the foot unintentionally. Don't know until I see the dr but my husband keeps saying to be ready if they put me on cast again for 2 more weeks if needed so I'm kind of ready for it too i think!!

This spellchecker can pick up some funny words, nothing to do with what you're talking any. Lol I will guarantee that your swelling will reduce once cast it off and pain will reduce greatly. Won't know yourself.boot has its own nuisance's but much better than the cast. Fingers Xsd. Yours comes off. I git my nxt consultant visit nxt Friday where I'm hoping they reduce the use of the boot around the house. As my physio has told me it won't take taken away straight away until I've managed more physio to build strength and muscle back up. 12 weeks Tuesday and a lift time of horror. 😢 sx

Liz please take the time to look into a levelling shoe to bring both legs to the same height. Have a look at "Even up shoe" not expensive and can save you a lot of secondary injuries to hip back knees ankle and one lady has shoulder pain which she believes is from walking bent with crutches in boot. There are jest too many strain injuries come from boot and crutches and uneven gait Do take care.

Hi Ladies,
Just to update you on my progress to give you all some positve feeling!
4weeks ago I had my plaster removed & had a lot of pain & swelling! It has got a lot easier & still painfull more some days than others so getting there,
I can now come down the stairs normally rather than one foot at a time, & swelling is not half as bad either, so light at the end of the tunnel but still a long way b4 back to 100% as I cant walk far,
Hope your all ok I do feel your frustration but you will get there
Best Wishes to you all
Tina x
