    Cyst in wrist

    I was able to get my MRI report from my wrist. It reads small 5mm intraosseous cyst distal scaphoid. I have a follow up appointment this Monday 3/6.  Has anyone ever had a cyst in their wrist? What was your course of treatment? Everytime I search cyst I get ganglion cyst. Are they the same? Also

    Ganglion Cyst Disappeared, now my wrist hurts?

    What happens when they drain the cyst?

    On Friday my nurse called with Mri results for the pain in my ankle, it's apparently a cyst. Tomorrow I go in to discuss it, from everything I've read online, when they aspirate it they also inject you with steroids, is this true? I am breastfeeding my nine month old and do not want steroids, idk

    Cyst Removal Right Wrist

    I am a little over a week out from ganglion cyst removal ( or so dr thought) but once in there he couldn't do much said whatever it is, is attahced to 2 arteries and he didn't remove it.  He put me in a splint said not to use my wrist for a few weeks.  I have went back several times since surgery

    My ganglion cyst just recently started hurting

    I've had a ganglion cyst on my wrist for over a year. It never hurt and never changed size. Last week I noticed that it has got really small and my wrist has started hurting when I move it. Anyone know why it would just now be hurting or why it would have got really small

    Suspected ruptured ganglion cyst

    I think my son has a cysts on his shoulder

    I can feel a lump on my son's shoulder it feel like.     I had a ganglion on my wrist for about 6month, until last night when i accidentally hit my wrist on a wooden stair bannister, and it has now completely disappeared!! Okay is wasn't a bible, but this seems to have gotten rid of it!!!

    ganglion on top of left hand - i hit it with a book!!!

    i had a ganglion (never had one before) that appeared in december on top of my left hand near my wrist 't know what it was then saw someone with one on 'doc martin' went to doctor last week as i hated it and was told nothing could be done unless i wanted it cut out privately.

    well i went to see the consultant and i had the x rays and everything.. and he said i have a very weird wrist, because the ganglion is growing the wrong its growing down inbetween two of the bones in my hand intead of up. so he's referred me for a mri scan, and then once the results are back it'

    ganglion at base of thumb thanks to crutches

    I have a painful pea sized swelling at the base of my thumb thanks to having to use crutches to walk due to damaged leg after a severe case of cellulitis. Doc says if it doesn't ease up on its own they can inject steroids. I've just read about hitting it with a book but it's in an awkward position

    ganglions on both ankles

    ive had 2 on each of my ankles for about 10 years ive had 1drained but it came back so now im having them all taken out in a month or two hopefully they wont come back because they are so painfull when ive been on my feet all day i get shooting pains down my foot and up my leg.

    I currently have a ganglion in my left wrist, I've been to the doctors twice and the first time he said it will go away by itself, when I went again yesterday he said to hit it with a book! I'm seriously considering doing this as it is very painful and it hurts even to pick up a fork sometimes!

    can i still train??

    i have a ganglion on my left wrist, and for the last 3-4months have been trying to rest it as i'm studying circus. but i would realy like to try and get back to trainning does any one know if i can carry on practicing handstands, tumbling, juggling ect?? or maybe i,ll give i wack with the old bible!

    My Ganalion

    I've been told I have a ganalion. It's at the top of my wrist and causes me a lot of pain. I can't bend my wrist so it has become very week and if by acceident I do bend it I get a sharp pain at both sides of my radioulna joints. I hate having this and I've had it for eight years.
