Burn on forefinger — what should I do?

Hi. So. This is rather embarrassing.

I happened to burn my forefinger (at the lower joint) on a candle this morning about 3 hours ago and it was sort of just stinging a bit. It’s been run under cold water and doesn’t hurt much now unless I apply pressure to it. There’s now what I think is a small white blister just over half a centimetre long there - aside from that the area is kinda reddish. Does anyone know anything about burns; if so what I should do? Just a bit concerned as the internet is making me feel like I'm about to die, when it is only small. I don't want to go to the doctor or have to go to my mum about it so came here...
