Burned Throat Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar

I poured a cup of 8 oz water and put two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (ACV) in it and I was drinking threw a straw sipping past my teeth to the back of my mouth and at some point I ended up burning my throat doing that. I usually do that but maybe I didn't dilute the apple cider vinegar enough. This happened yesterday and all day today I have been in pain. I have started back up with taking pills like tums, I am trying to avoid taking my PPI's and I was doing fine up until yesterday. My throat feels sore or burned, like its healing. I don't feel any tightness,I haven't refluxed but eating anything or drinking anything makes the back of my mouth hurt. As long as I don't swallow anything it feels fine. Its usually like this after I wake up, over time if I am eating and drinking stuff thru out the day the pain tends to go away. I don't know why but when I go to sleep or take a nap and wake back up the pain is back in full force. What should I do? Is this going to just take time to heal?

You've probably just hurt your throat, I suggest you stop the ACV for a while (1 week), and then go back to it.

What ive been told to do, is to get apple juice and add a tablespoon of ACV to it, feels less painful!
