I highly doubt your surgery brought on menapause. I've had many surgeries in my 54 years and didn't have menopause symptoms after but I will say that anesthesia will affect you for a few days after. Even after procedures where I had been under for less then an hour I still felt out of sorts for a few days after. How long ago did you have your operation?

I don't think it acutally brought it on, timing might be coincidental. But I do know that stressful situations make my symptoms worse at times.
