Can a tumour be missed? Causing anxiety

i am having severe visual disturbances loss of vision amongst so many other visual things,ive seen opthamologists,neruo opthamologist and neurologist who just keep putting it off,ive jad an mri scan of the head a year ago came back normal,a ct scan of the head in december came back normal and another mri of the head/orbits/neck (without contrast)that showed no sign of any tumours,but im losing vision on visual field tests and my vision is dimming,my questions is can an mri of the orbits miss a tumour pushing on my optic nerve? 2 drs have checked the images and cant see one,but im having so many symptoms its depressing me

    did they give any explanation as to what it could be caused from? I know that stress and anxiety can do that.

    what do you mean when you say the doctors keep putting it off?

    Sorry to hear this, can understand how this will be impacting your mental health.

    I don't think the anxiety forum is best placed to answer your question specifically, however from what you have described by the tests you have had and the different specialists you have seen, it does seem unlikely that a tumor would have been missed.

    Do you wear glasses or have ever been advised to wear glasses? Anxiety certainly won't help, it'll make symptoms worse. What do you mean by they 'keep putting it off'?

    anxiety can amplify symptoms,but shouldn't caus that,have you been treated for possible migraines?
