can flatulence be a good sign ?

Hi all hope some one can help.
When I was on foods that was making me unwell I would get all the usual IBS complaints stomah cramping just after eating food plus bloating and belching but never much wind.
That was when I was not adding raw cold pressed oils to each meal.
But since adding raw cold pressed oil to each meal I no longer get belching or much trouble but what i am getting now is quite a lot of wind the other way.
Has anyone else had this and found out why.
The only answer i can come up with in this suden change is maybe my belching turning to farting is a result of wind being trapped because I've never added the correct amount of oils to meals before or fats and as a result of me now adding the oil it helping my body to relieve wind through the right way down rather than up.
My theory is perhaps because I wasn't adding oils to meals I was getting trapped wind and now its not trapped because the oil is helping it come out.
I wondered if this is quite common or a sign that basically I have a Berry sensitive tummy but I can live with just wind.
Or could I still gave something I need to be checked out for.
And if anyone could help me out with the recomended 5 to 1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 oils found in opils.
Health standards suggest that you get more omega 6 than omega 3 to your diet.
The recommended in take is to include oil that has more omega 6 than omega 3 and to this at a 5 to one ratio when having healthy oil with your meal does anyone know a goodethod for this

I found out that stuff that spills down the sides of the bottle can turn rancid to.
Them if you pic them up and touch your mouth you can. Be unwell even food poisoning as bacteria's can multiply in them.
But I'm more concerned about buying them rancid as its been suggested that does happen

I would think that less bloating is a good sign. But trading one form of air (belching) for another (wind) doesn't sound like a very positive step forward. If it's a normal, healthy amount then that's fine. But, if it's more than that, you're still probably not digesting well.
Did your doctor suggest adding the oils? I believe you have it backwards and Omega 3 is the healthy fat, not Omega 6. Also, your doctor would probably have information to avoid taking anything rancid - or a nutritionist. Carefully wiping the bottle each time may help or maybe this comes in capsule form like Fish Oils? If you can get to a nutritionist, that may be your best source of information.
Reading up on this topic online shows everything from answers to how to balance your ratio in favor of healthier fats to websites saying that the ratio isn't important at all...so it's confusing like anything else when it comes to nutrition! But, it seems that if you shop carefully for things like meats and eggs you'll be helping your body. Grass-fed beef and specially-fed hens give meat and eggs that are better for you, in general. Many people feel phyiscally better eating organic meats, eggs and dairy, along with fruits and vegetables.
Since your body is reacting to a dietary change, I think you could help yourself feel better with food changes - see if you can sit down with an expert for the best advice for your body and your symptoms. Good Luck!!

I was seeing a dieticion that told me about adding the healthy oils to each meal.
I wasn't adding it before I saw her and was getting a lot of belching cramps and gurgling.
Since ive started adding it i now get wind instead of belching but over the last fews days i have slightly lowered my intake of oil with each meal now and its better just now.
But my worry is not still over I'm not getting cramps in the tummy much
Now either and my stools have been getting better.
But the gurgling is still there and last night and for the last couple of weeks my gurgling has come up to my left lung
Last night my airways closed for a believe couple of seconds to while I was breathing.
Have no idea what that is.
Yes I have change my diet to cut out dairy and high fat foods high sugar foods
Now I'm on just lean meats but will be going mostly fish soon.
Cut out all other carbs wheat etc and just having rice and jacket patatoes as a carb now.
Brown rice everyday almost.
Stopped refined white sugar too and any foods rich in sugar like processed concentrated and packet foods like icevcream cornettos.
Replaced my butter for healthy oil.
Cut out all high saturated fat food.
Eating smaller meals and including the correct amount of oils and sugars to each meal.
I am really supprised to learn that people say you don't have to worry about not adding the correct amount of oils to each meal.
I guess the internet is full of confusion.
Can you tell me more about the the ratio in Onega 6 to omega 3 oils then.
The other change I have made is adding iron to my diet each day too via a green smoothy or homemade soup or homemade burgers.
So I have made quite a lot change but the real improvement came from adding a certain amount of oils and healthier sugar to each meal.
For a 350 cal meal I was adding 3 teaspoons of oil and a pare to my meal
Or half a pare and a carrot or two.
The wind was quite frequent at first but no belching that stopped more or less.
Which was a huge relief.
So lowered the oil to just 2 teaspoons and added a bit more iron of a morning time via either a green smothy or homemade burger made from half lean red beef and half quinoah.
The quinoah is great I can make 20 burgers from 500 grams of beef and they still taste great.
The other change I made was adding a bit of salt and vinegar to each meal too.
Do quite a lot of change but much better but the gurgling in my lungs and windpipe right up high is getting worrying for Mr now.
I wondered if IBS gurglings normaly come up as high as the chest.

And there's no getting away from it what so ever so I'm wondering if the five to one ratio is including saturated as the 1 and healthy oils as the five .
I noticed that on every food lable I've checked and it mistly healthy labels in my house now they all have a bit of saturated fat in them.
I read an article publish in the daily mail but that made reference to a 5 to 1 ratio on omegas oils but not sure which way I'll post a link if that's OK and if you can work it out great
