Can someone please look, I’m scared for my partner. Is it herpes or yeast infection

Symptoms started 4 days ago. white discharge with mild burning, then I had sex that night, burning after urinating and swelling in area around vaginal opening. I don't know if I'm tripping, but i feel like i see sores. i will be getting tested and hopefully swabbed on Monday. I'm mostly scared for my bf of 6 months, I know he's been loyal sexually and so have I. I'm heartbroken that I could have been asymptomatic for years and gave it to him, or vice versa. I'm waiting for pictures to be accepted!

It could possibly a yeast infection. Lots of people actually don't know that yeast infections can cause bumps/ sores. Keep me posted and good luck!

Hi, agreed! The pictures finally uploaded and it looks like a strong yeast infection. Get a confirmation by your doctor but at the meantime, you can start an antifungal treatment.

this looks like a yeast infection. i have the same symptoms and I booked an appointment for next week. please go see a gynecologist, ask for a vaginal swab, urinalysis and consider getting a full STD bloodwork for your peace of mind.

Little update.... I've been using monistat 7 and I'm on night 3, it makes the burning and itching amplify, but my symptoms are fading. I can walk, change positions, and urinate with no pain!!! I will still be getting test monday.

another update... went to the gyno, got a wet mount, and was told i had bv and that no yeast was found due to using monistat. Unfortunately my office doesn't provide hsv blood tests, so I was examined externally and internally, as well as the pictures uploaded here, and was told it wasn't herpes.
