Can't do this and panicing about weight

Hi, I went to gp today to request some reductil which i have tried years ago and worked only to be given a prescription for this stuff. I don't have a clue and after reading posts I don't even want to collect my prescription. I really can't do this...oily pants n pooh turning my stomach and making me panic just thinking about it. I work in retail also so if i get a bout of the skoots then its going to be on the shop floor as our toilet is at the top of a huge staircase and we arent supposed to leave customers. I am absolutely terrified at the thought! Are there any good things about this medication other than the weight loss, I am seriously thinking of just taking speed! Out of total desperation ofcourse and not something id be considering lightly.

Try not to panic!!! I've been taking these tablets for about 5 days now and have had no side effects whatsoever; HOWEVER you have to eat right, i'm much more aware of the amount of fat i'm eating and trying to fill my diet out with loads of fruit and veg.
Like any drug, including Speed!!!, there are always side effects, but these seems only to be mild if you stick to the rules.
Why not start slowly on 1 tablet a day, as my Dr suggested, to see how you get on, or at the weekend but focus on trying to eat healthily.
Take care,
C x

As C says, you just have to stick to a healthy diet and avoid fat. So far I've found it suprisingly easy, but you do have to stay away from the chocs and so-on. Fruit is my new best friend.
Have a look through and you'll see there's loads of positive stuff on here too. That's kept me going.
Good luck Leezy and come back and tell us about your experiences :D

I have been on the blueys for 7 months now and have only experienced the runs on one occasion (as i ate more fat at one meal without realising).
Please dont stress or worry it's true as long as you stick to low fat meals you will be fine.By the way have lost 6 stone to date and hopefully a few more in the next months ahead.
Good Luck.
Jo.

Yeah, definately give them a go, they're the only thing that has worked for me in years...! Side effects can be there, at times, but may only be in very small doses.... I've learnt to embrace them (well sort of) and have a laugh about them (maybe I'm just a bit sick)! Well... you've gotta laugh.. its not that bad really!! I feel the best I've felt in absolutely YEARS!!! Good luck girl, its worth it! J X
