Can't eat enough. have to forcefeed after a bite or two

Hi. I am a 23 year old male residing in india.

So, this is a problem that i have been facing for years now and have been unable to find a solution to it. whenever i sit to eat something, after a bite or two i feel fulfilled, i feel bloating in upper left abdomen just below the rib cage and after that i am just not able to eat anymore. i have vomitted quite a few times and other times i just burp uncontrollably.

I have seen many specialists but could not find a solution. i went for sonography, everything was normal. went for endoscopy, just grade-A esophagitis, nothing serious. chest x-ray - nothing. was taking ppi's for half a year but still the same problem persists.

Kindly suggest a solution

    Hi,

You seem to have had some good medical investigation, into your condition.

Have you looked into your diet, the foods that you eat and foods that could cause your symptoms.

Foods that have gluten, wheat, dairy products, etc.

Might be worth takeing a look at foods and food intolerance.

    Hope you find a solution.

Yes I have looked into food. Wheat is a problem was not sure about Gluten. Have never found anything to indicate Gluten but would not surprise me if it was a problem.

Health foreverI will take a look Gluten free diet.

My Stretta treatment that I will have in May, is because the opening to my stomach does not close and acid is burning my esophagus near the opening to my stomach. I breath the acid gas, that makes me cough and wheeze. These symptoms can lead to cancer, so treatment is a must. They took biopsy when they did endoscopy, thankfully they did not find cancer cells.

A while after the treatment, I should be able to eat more foods.

Hi,I had a similar problem.  I would eat just a few bites and feel full.  If I ate anymore I would get heart palpitations.  I had all the tests and was in the hospital a few times and they never found anything. I did extensive internet rsearch and came across Gluten Free diets.  I started a 100% Gluten free diet and within 3 days started seeing results.  It has been about 10 months now and I am 97% better.  I also found out I can't have dairy and I have many other food allergies.  When I eat gluten it thows my esophogus into spasms which increases my heart rate, same thing when I eat dairy.  Google all the different symtptoms and illness assocaited with Gluten.  I hope this heps.  I am now able to eat more at one time than before but not an entire meal at once yet.  It takes time to heal and for your body to recover but it does work.

I think I have been responding to the wrong discussion. My problems have been Reflux and my esophagus.

So I will leave this conversation.

Healthyforever seems to have found some good answers.

Hope all goes well for you.
