So this morning I was woken up at 4am due to a severe pain in the right side of my neck. I was unable to turn it to the right and felt very nauseas with it. Later on my right arm got really heavy & weak. I took Codeine, put on deep heat, warmed my hot water bottle up and also brought out my electric massager. By 8am the pain had gone from a 9 to a 7, so I booked a doctors appointment for some stronger tablets.
At the point of getting ready I felt really dizzy, extremely nauseas, lightheaded & faint. I went to the doctors and she informed it sounded like Torticollis & prescribed me a low dosage of Diazepam (have a duodenal ulcer so cant take certain tablets)
I took one tablet at 10.30am and slept for a few hours, a few hours later I got up and I was throwing up. This has continued since and seems to only be when I drink water (I can keep food down fine).
Literally within 10mins of having half a glass of water I'm throwing up. I've resorted to having ice lollies to get some fluids into me as I'm dehydrated. Can anyone help give some suggestions on this? I feel dreadful!
My neck pain has come down a lot but now I'm suffering really bad with dizziness and vomiting (feel like I'm really drunk). I havent taken anymore tablets since 10.30am, except for some paracetemol at 2pm, however I threw up 10mins later so not sure if they got into my system or not.
Any tips to help get rid off this feeling would be appreciated.
P.S I've been eating ginger bread men since this morning to help with the nausea

is there any possibility this could be meningitis? if I were you I would go to A&E or ER, just in case it is something serious. Do you live in the UK? If you do ring 111 and explain your symptoms.

I would go to A&E to verify your symptoms.
