It's 3 years you have been experiencing these symptoms? And no one has found the cause? I think you need to push. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
One thing I would want to rule out is MS; multiple sclerosis. Check it out on line. But see your doctor about it. Often it's a matter of wait and see for such a diagnosis. In any case, you want to be able to rule that out. I would say that something neurological is going on and you should see...a neurologist! Ask your doctor for a referral...and don't take no for an answer.
There is nothing worse than not knowing what is wrong because then you cannot take steps to treat 'whatever it is'.
In the meantime take good care of yourself; Eat a healthy diet (6 - 10 veggies/fruits per day), exercise even if it's going for a 20 minute walk, avoid alcohol and cigarettes, get out in the light and sun, be around positive people, getting plenty of sleep etc..
Let us know what is going on once you find out yourself. Best of luck!

yes of cause you have seen a neurologist and the first thing mine did was rule out MS that's what they do,and like me not taking ADs is what is prolonging it but have tried several and end up like a zombie, easy for them not in our shoes. If you want to pm me feel free rather that put it on open forum.

just to tell you I have tried eliminating all sorts of food have never touched cheese or processed foods or alchol and have had allergy tests to no avail and if you read on the headache forum people have done the same and still get them so Unfortunatly they do not always get to the bottom of it,
with diet or even medication and anxiety is not always treatable some find meds some with therapy but it can be on going which you and I have found.

I just reread your post and you state that you have had a headache FOR 3 YEARS! No one should suffer like that. But like you, I did. I had intermittent headaches for longer than that. Finally I went to an allergist who did all kinds of skin tests and they all came out negative. But, the doctor told me that i likely had food 'intolerances' and he gave me a list of foods to avoid. You can find such a list on line. For me nitrites and MSG were and still are at the top of the list. I cannot eat cold cuts (ham, hot dogs, salami, bologna etc..) And I cannot eat Chinese food because it has MSG. I get a migraine, pounding throbbing etc.. not fun! MSG is in many processed foods such as soups...almost ALL soups. You have to become a food label reader...or eat only foods you prepare from scratch..whch is better for your health anyway. You will read on a soup can: monosodium glutamate (MSG) but there are many other names for it such as hydrolyzed plant protein or yeast extract and about 15 other variations, these three being the most common. Red wine is terrible for me. One sip and I feel my neck stiffening up immediately. All alcohol doesn't agree with me basically. Cheese is another big offender. Hard cheese such as parmesan...even a sprinkling on spaghetti...headache! I can eat pizza cheese in moderation and if I only have it once in a while. Softer cheeses like mozzarella are not too bad. I will get a mild headache. Chocolate is another big one unfortunately... If I were you, I would cut out all the above foods and I would reduce my diet to its simplist, homemade form. Bit by bit...separated by as much as 5 - 7 days, you could reintroduce foods one by one.
Another thing that has greatly helped me is keeping very regular. I have discovered that ridding my body of digested foods, in a timely manner, really eliminated a lot of my headaches. Personally I take 2 magnesium citrate tablets before bed with almond milk (I gave up milk years ago for digestive reasons and coughing) and I sleep like a log AND I am regular when I wake up with no discomfort ever. I can tell that everything from my colon is eliminated. And I feel good!
Give it a try and eliminate these common headache producing foods, keep track of when you get headaches and what you ate in the previous meal and I am sure you will get to the bottom of this issue of yours. Who knows, maybe the tingling and other symptoms will subside as well. Good luck, Irishcath!
