Car suggestions having 2 broken vertebrae in my mid and lower back?

Sitting in my grandmothers car causes pain even after only 5/10 minutes. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to stop it happening? I wear a back brace but where the seat is shaped there’s nothing for the lower part of my back to rest on so it hurts my back.

I would use a cushion but I don’t know if you can legally use them in cars? If anyone has any knowledge R.E. this, let me know.

I also saw some shaped back support panels for cars on eBay but obviously since I’m wearing a brace I don’t know if they would work (my brace covers the lower part of the middle of my back, kind of).

Any ideas? I’ve got the brace on for at least 2 more weeks (probably longer as they initially wanted another appointment in 3 weeks which the dr wasn’t available to do, then 4 weeks with the same problem so it was settled on 2 weeks).

You could roll a hand towel and place that behind your back and it should be ok as long as you have your seat belt on, try a hot water bottle or heat/ice  pack wrapped inside that may also help 😊
