I am due to start CBT therapy soon and am interested in hearing from people that have had this therapy, I have not seen many positive views on this treatment ?
I have had a anxiety problem for 3 years and have been on various Meds but am yet to find anything that works.
I have now come to the conclusion that self treatment is the way forward .
I have found keeping active , grasping any positive throughout the day and taking 20 mins a day to trance have had a big affect on my condition .
I would be interested on hearing other forum users views

I had CBT but no good for me if I continued for the rest of my life it would not have worked,But that's me being honest you must try it as some swear by it.I like you cannot find a med. that works so am at the moment trying a very high fish oil to see if that helps it has good reviews like all of them do so we will see.

Sorry to hear you have health anxiety that's what I have got not nice.do hope the CBT is good for you.Keep posting on here it does help that knowing you are not alone.x

I know what you mean I have this constant pain behind my right ribs thought it was stones had the ultra sound and all clear have gad heartburn taken in for suspected heart attack thank goodness no stress echocardiogram clear stress.It just seems to manifest anywhere and the worst thing don't go on Dr Google you will come ff with every illness there is.I am not n meds but just wondered if the side effects of your meds could be causing heartburn.But the mind has a way of giving us every ache and pain there is.When we are low I think we hone in on everything.anyway keep in touch.Good Luck.
