Celexa? Does it help with dizziness?

I am questioning everyone that has or is taking celexa, does it help with dizziness too? I am currently taking Zoloft but my psychiatrist wants me to try celexa as my main symptom is dizziness.
Thanks in advance

Hey,
I haven't been in citalpram for a while but I was getting not so much dizziness but spinning in the middle of my head. And after taking it for a while it didn't settle down a lot. Hope this helps and your feeling better!

Hey,
Thanks for the input. I was on Zoloft for a long time. I just started taking celexa today, I was instructed to take half a pill for 4 days then start taking a whole pill after that. I have read about the side effects just hope they don't get too bad. Dizziness is my main symptom so if this medicine can ease it up some then that would great. Will wait and see what happens.

No worries. It will ease up but it might take some time to get into your system. I had contact dizziness plus other side effects when before I started on cit. I only came off of it because I fell pregnant and didn't want it affecting the baby. I'm just about to start on escitalpram on Monday as I'm going away because my dizziness and anxiety has started to come back and I don't want it to get as bad as it was last time.
Good luck and I hope that it works for you!
