Chances of catching Genital Herpes 2 from a protected BJ?

Hello people,

Six  days ago I had a BJ using a condom from a woman. No visible sores on her mouth. No sex - just a BJ (no sucking balls either)

If this woman had herpes 2 (or 1) and produced a lot of saliva onto my scrotum. I had no cuts on my scrotum by the way, what is the likely hood of me catching genital herpes?

As it happens my balls seems to become more itchy and now I have a tiny scratch mark at the base of my shaft - perhaps being paranoid about this has made me focus on down there). The scratch looks just like a small nick from where I scraped with my nail. No crusting and bubbling....yet (hopefully not)

Has anyone on here ever caught genital herpes in this fashion?

Thanks

Its common to catch Hsv-2 from oral contact but the chances with no visual sores on her mouth and a condom greatly reduces the chances. If the condom did not fully cover everything to the base thats still skin to skin contact. But with no actual sores the chances are its just a bit of irritation from the scratch/condom. Give it some more time but I think you may just be a little paranoid without any major symptoms

      Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I'm in agreement with you but it seems strange how I get this at the base of my shaft 6 days after. I will have to sweat it out and see if it gets worse. Possibly... impetigo, bite from something?

I've just looked at it under a magnifying glass and it appears to be three tiny dots that are in line with each other. Its just an irritant at the moment.

Hey Hendrick, I wish you luck.

What test did you get done as here in the UK you cant get tested for genital herpes if you don't have any sores present. I am intrigued..was it a blood test at a private firm or something? ..apparently blood test are not that reliable. I've read somewhere on the net that it has to be IgG test??

Some have sores IN the mouth so you can't see them... Sadly you'll have to wait for the results.
