Was on citalapram 60mg for 11Years with constant mood swings (suicidal to pure rage). Informed not safe dose anymore. Very difficult time cutting dose then changing to fluoxitine 60mg. Given it 8 months and don't like them. Am now scared to change as was with a crisis team for the last change. Really need advice. Thank you

    Hey annstas

Having been on a few meds myself

I was very wary of trying another as I had

    An unsuccessful time with mirt

I was off meds for roughly 3 months

Before the dreaded anxiety / depression

Kicked back in . I was in a position

Where I thought I could cope but low and behold I'm now on day 18 of flu

And I can see a difference , I've not really suffered side effects wise either

I suppose it really is trial and error

To find the right medication that suits

    Each individual

I would say have a round of talks to discuss

The next move maybe have a look at other meds

    Hi Ann

Sounds like you are way off the beaten track with your meds.

I suppose things like a 2nd opinion and swapping doctors has already been considered..!?

What is it you dont like about the Flu?

Im still hanging my hat on it being right for me, but need to wait and see...

The very best of wishes to you!

    Richo.

      Hi hun.

Have got an appointment to discuss my options with a new doctor one week Today.

      My side effects are

      Racing heart

      Panic attacks

      Headaches

      Auto pilot

Emotions are all on one level - not happy - not sad

Hope this helps. Good Luck and fingers crossed they work for you. Thank you for replying.
