Child of a parent with cancer please help

i feel lost as if my life is unreal. my dads cancer returned 20 years later . watching him suffer, cry, get weak due to chemo,and his hope to live is killing me . i feel numb ive lost touch with reality and im afraid. hes my world . his hair is gone , whole nail came off, hes buying huge televisions, walking with a cane ! my dad was fine 2 months ago. the chemo is hurting him so bad idk what to do . i rather go first than to watch him leave me. he wants to live he says he doesnt want to be in his body anymore because its sick. my soul hurts seeing my super hero down .

    I am sorry for your situation. I know people in your circumstance get great comfort in discussing the issues with a psychologist with expertise in the help you're after. As your GP or PCP to refer you to one. Good luck.
