chronic pancrititis and a feeling of trapped wind in my chest

I had chronic pancrititis a few months ago with a lengthy stay in hospital, now 6 months later i have a feeling of trapped wind under my sternum area I recently had a cyst burst on my pancreas leading to 2 more days in hospital and after a scan it showed the cyst was no more. now i have this new pain as i said and it feels like a ball of air stuck there and will not shift very painful i have tried some indigestion remedies and after looking on line it's all doom and gloom. Any ideas before i go to the hospital again.

Thanks.

my husband went to hospital with a suspected heart attack as that's what it felt like. Every test and scans were done and heart all fine. They said bruised heart muscles. He did do heavy lifting and had a bad vomiting attack so plausible. However he still gets the same symptoms, followed by belching and farting (sorry to descriptive) so I think trapped wind. I say that as I had the same a few months ago and the pain in my chest was like a heart attack and I kept belching. it cleared and I've been fine since. He had a scan so I know his pancreas is stable at the moment so really think trapped wind but don't know how to resolve it. it's obviously to do with digestion but don't know how to resolve. Hood luck with your issue just seems very similar to my husbands experience

It could be some mild pancreas irritation, or it could be something called splenic flexure syndrome... or a variety of other things. Go get it checked out.
