Yes it works - count your recovery in months, not weeks. You need lots of patience and along the way you'll get setbacks (blips) which are quite normal (seems like your'e back at the beginning).
You can't hurry recovery - a higher dose doesn't mean you'll get better any quicker and you'll still get blips. Go with what your body feels more comfortable on ..... that often takes a while before you find this.
Different doses suit different people and everyone has a different recovery time. It took me 6 months - but some recover quicker than that, some longer. Let it happen for you and try and go with whatever happens at the moment. It gets easier.
The first few weeks / months are often the worst. Stick with it, be patient and you'll come through it and back to yourself again.

I've never heard of Melissa's Dream - but if its a herbal remedy only then I'm sure it can't harm. I used to take herbals meds, B6 and other Vitamins when I took Citalopram too. If in doubt its always worth checking with the pharmacist at your local Chemist just to be on the safe side.

I was first treated with citalopram about 12 years ago and have been on it ever since. I have tried to come off it several times with or without the doctor. Each time I failed it was hell dealing with severe Panic attacks and I was back where I started as close to suicidal as it gets. So for years now I have lived a lovely peaceful on 10mg as my GP has advised me to stay on it as it is such a low dose. In my work in the army and police I saw far too many horrendous things for anyone to cope with. I can deal with that now thanks to citalopram.

Great idea. I aim to do the same thing myself eventually
It’s just what we have to do
In my work I have come across others in similar situations who have done the same thing
Well done 👍
