Citalopram. dose too high, suffering with side effects

Woke up 4 wks ago in pure desperation, I was hallucinating, crying hysterically, swearing and wanting to end it. My partner finally got me to the doctors, told me the dose was too high & dangerous, came straight of them, started mirtazapine to keep anxiety calm. I still feel dreadful, I'm off work not getting paid so sorry kicks in, I just don't know what else to do

      I was on 20mg for over a year, anxiety was at an all time low then I got put on 40 as I was feeling a little low!

      I am on 40 mg have been for around 6 years now! Why was you told it was dangerous?

      The level was too high for me, my serotonin level was fine so it was the wrong decision, don't worry about your dose as long its helping you
