Has anyone suffered achy calfs when withdrawing from Citalopram? Taking it very slowly but the unexplained pain is horrible.

Try some CBD oil Beth, good for restless leg syndrome, so might give you some comfort also.

Hi Beth, your thread shot out at me. Back in December I dropped from 30mg of citalopram to 20mg due to a health scare, I also reduced Amitryptyline and came off other meds. Up until recently I have suffered with achey calfs and other aches and pains., since then. My meds had also masked a progressive calf injury which I dont believe was down to citalopram although difficult to tell and I spent 6 weeks on crutches and physio for 3 months. For me with meds its been one thing after another. Now I am 70% recovered and getting better by the week. Physically and mentally I cant think of any part of me that hasnt been affected. So yes its definitely withdrawal.
