Citalpram 2 weeks in

2 Weeks in and the side effects seems to be I hope at the peak.
Stomach ache, nausea, raised anxiety and now throat infection and swollen lymph nodes. Gp has advised to stick with it and the side effect do go away apparently. Really hope so feel like I am being strangled at mo and just given me parcetmol for throat infections.
Anyone else out there fight the side effects, be good to have a support mechanism on here cause I think *some* medical practitioners struggle to help people like ourselves.
I empathize with anyone having to make the difficult decision to choose when enough is enough

We are both in favor of our favorite forum Anyone NOT had any side effects on Citalopram?' ha ha
However it was and probably for a while will be my lifeline to not been alone in all of this. Knowing people whom understand what we are all going thru so helps us cope, if you have never suffered this you really dont know what its like, so its hard to get it across to someone to anyone whom has never had it.
Before I suffered with GAD I would never have understood it whatsoever,
Take care all

It seems to be where everyone ends up directed to. Great support and lots of success stories all in one place. You can really follow the path of people. So real, and so positive.
