These two weeks, I have been suffering clogged throat. Like there is a metal ball inside my throat. I am not sure if it is part of menopause? Everyone else has the same symptom?

Hello Lucy I had the same thing happen to me 😩 it was 2 months ago but it lasted November till end of March. I even had a ct scan done and X-ray nothing was found. But I found an answer here. Well for me it was dry mouth it got so bad I felt cuts in my throat. I bought a humidifier and dry mouth spray. My throat got better I still feel it a little but not like it was. I felt like my throat was going to shut. I also stretched my neck. I hope this helps because I know how you feel. I thought for sure they where going to find a big lump on my throat thank god they didn’t. And yes this has to be menopause related cause others have written about it.

Thanks Columba84250! Since January 2017, I have been suffering all different symptoms. I have been going doctor to doctor, done all body check, CT, MRI, X-ray, outrasound, blood work. All come back fine. These two days, my clogged throat gets improved. Thanks God! Still there but better. A lot of my symptoms last two weeks. Anxiety seems last forever!

This is going on with me too. I think it’s menopause related - specifically related to the anxiety meno has unleashed. When I focus on relaxing my jaw, it goes away. Jaw stretches help. Google TMJ disorder, that’s what brought me to this conclusion.

Maybe get a blood test for your thyroid as this can be a symptom of hypothyroidism as well. 💕

I think this is related to anxiety. My mother had this and so have i . Once I stopped obsessing about it ,it went away. It's amazing what stress and anxiety can do to the body.

This clogged throat comes back. Anyone knows what is going on? Can this disappear?

It does come back for me, but I can almost always tie it to stress in my life. When I focus on relaxing my lower jaw and neck muscles it’s much better. It also helps me to stretch my jaw as wide as a yawn then move my lower jaw side to side. You’ll look ridiculous, but it will help!
