Coincident or what!

Last Saturday I was hobbling round the Tatton Flower Show with my walking stick. This week I am in the garden, bending, digging and for the first time in ages looking forward to the future. Last week I was taking simvastatin this week I am not.

Wow! So glad to read your post. I was beginning to think it was mind over matter. I stopped them two weeks ago and like you feel so much better. The lethargy was so debilitating and breathlessness made me feel like another heart attack was looming but it's all gone now!!

So glad I found this site and read your experiences. I have been unhappy about taking Simvastatin for some time. I have arthritis in both knees but they were not too bad. Now some days I find it difficult to walk without a lot of pain. I also get numbness and tingling sensation in my fingers and toes.My doc increased my doseage from 10mg to 40mg. I am going to stop taking them for a week to see if things will improve. Watch this space!
