Yes defo upset stomach was part of it when I stopped last year.   Also felt kind of fluish and shivery then hot.  Headaches and sweats.   Just do it really really slow.  I gave myself a month of 50, then a month of 25 then a month of every other day then stopped.  It wasn’t too bad but take your time, there is no rush.

I took it for 4 years or so and it was great it really helped me through an awful time in my life.   I came off it for about 6 months or so and unfortunately things got bad for me again so I started back on it a few weeks ago, still coping with start up side effects but I’m hoping it sorts me out again.

Hello, I've been on 50mg of sertraline for 7 days now,I've just started 100mg today. I'm a bit worried about coming of it. I'm already getting really bad shakes and numbness of the arm. I'm taking it about 11pm,But can't sleep more than 3-4 hours a night. Will this pass?

I take it in the morning as I find it very energising I don’t think I could sleep if I took it before bed.   You could try taking it in the morning instead.

Hi, I've been on sertraline over 20 years. Now trying to go off it very slow. I tried in the past to go off but 25mg drops at one time were way too much for me. This time around, i was at 75mg. My drop was 6.25mg. I feel a bit crummy, drowsy, headachy in eyes, warm. But no brain zaps. I am on day 4 of the reduction. I'll be on this new dosage for 3 months before considering another one, which could be an even smaller reduction. I kind of wish i only dropped by 3 mg just to avoid feeling crummy. Just my experience as a long time user.
