someone please help. Been getting these red dots about once a month, no pain but 8 Months ago i had a really bad throat infection, got prescribed penicilin. Didn't do anything. I don't experience pain that often but I can still see problems in my mouth along with these red dots flaring up every couple months. When I initally had it 8 months ago pain was so bad on one side, headache, fever. I saw two ENT Specialists and both said i was fine and inspected me. I was swabbed and nothing came back. Hi Brandon,

Try not to worry, cause sometimes the worry can be worse than the actual problem, I know first hand... I've been going through something similar for the past few months myself with my throat and had my second opinion from an ENT today, who said he's 99% sure there's nothing sinister in it, but is sending me for an MRI just for reassurance, because like u, I've been a worried, anxiety ridden mess for the last 3 months. From your pictures your throat looks very red and inflamed, so that would suggest some sort of infection. The red dots could just b part of the infection. It might be that it's just not clearing fully up and u need a stronger antibiotic.... easier said than done, but make an appointment with your doctor and in the meantime try not to dwell on it... I'm sure youll b fine, and that it's nothing serious yo worry about... wishing u all the best 😉
