Hi so about 3 weeks ago i went to the doctors with red spots on my penis, doctor prescribed antivirals for 5 days, i feel like it's getting better but i'm worried it's taking such a long time ? Also he literally just looked at them for 2 minutes and said it looks like herpes...If it is well i already got the news but just never had any pain or blisters filled with fluid, i'm confused ! image

    Hi, mines taking a really long time too. Im on day 10/11. Its finally starting to get better now. But i wouldnt worry too much i think its normal if you dont get the medication as soon as the symptoms begin

      I hope so, been having symptoms since the 27th of march, just having doubts about the diagnosis maybe it's naive of me ! Just never had any blisters with liquid and he only looked at the patches and was like that kind of looks like herpes so i don't know..swab will be useless by now to probably so

      I think you can get a blood test. I havent been tested yet because i had a temperature for a few days when all the symptoms started so i couldnt go in to the surgery. Im going to ask about it today so i'll keep you posted.

      Thats great. What a huge relief for you! I still havent asked for a blood test. Keep thinking while i dont know i dont have to deal with it. Really need to get it done.
