When they checked the lining of your womb they didn't see any thickness to become alarmed about. All they saw were the cysts. If they would have said your lining is 9mm thick then they would go in to do a biopsy but since it was normal there's no reason to continue.

I mean there's no reason to continue testing you.

You're still young and not into full menopause. As long as they didn't see any thick lining of your womb, you should be fine. But if you're so concerned why haven't you contacted your gynecologist? That's the person you should be asking.

Have you contacted your doctor on this latest period? Like I said you're still young and can go through break through bleeding until late 50's. I think the hospital see many cases like this and this is why they said it's just a normal period. Plus your lining isn't thick or they would have told you.

Yes he said ring hospital and ask them to scan you again which they are doing in two weeks but he said I should not be bleeding that's why I'm worried didn't think after two years period free they could start again x

Your right, you are post menopausal, however, it is not out of the norm to have period here or there. Do you remember the term, change of life baby? There are many women who think when they are post menopausal that they are past the point of becoming pregnant, they are no longer on any birth control and then bam, out of no where they have a period which also means they ovulated, which also means a chance of pregnancy. I have several friends who like you have not had a period for years and then all of the sudden they will have one. That being said, you are right to get checked out as there are other conditions which cause bleeding. My mother in law is 70 and had 3 periods this past year after not having one for 15 years! Scary stuff, but everything was fine with her also. Just know you are not alone with this, it happens all the time with women. Just one more fun fact for us ladies!😉
