confused wihth info

good day and sorry for the not asking 100% to the point - i just suffered a terrible weekend.

well, i always had protected sex and even got tested for HIV regularly

and did what all doctors said "use a condom".

recently i decided i wish to get married and should test for all illnesses just in case

and was terrified that the "use condom + dont worry too much" wont protect from herpes sad

now, today i got tested and awaiting results and cant concentrate on anything.

would very much appreciate if someone could point me at my odds of infection with hsv 2

(dont worry - i wont goto my doc and say "but the forum said..." i just need a little good news)

status:

1. no unprotected sex

2. several body-to-body rubbings with several females

3. several times ladies performed oral sex for 2 seconds before i could put a condom

4. no symptoms ever - last time i was with a lady was 2-3 month ago

how "stupid am i" ? sad sad

    Ill tell you what i know theres about a 2% chance of being infected when using a condom

    Of course even if theres no symptoms present you can still be infected so body to body contact sex oral sex can all get you infected

    Tbh i wouldnt worry too much until you know however bloodtests do not always give an accurate result the best way to know if you have herpes is to swab from a blister/sore but if you havnt had any then theres out of the question

    Herpes can stay dormant for years like mine did or people can have an outbreak around 2 weeks after they have come into contact with the virus.

    Please dont stress yourself with it. Even if you do have even though theres no cure its so easily managed its not nice having it but you learn to deal with ot and change your lifestyle to suit it

    I have been with my partner nearly 5 years and i had my first outbreak last november dont know how long i had it or how i got it or who from they are questions nobody will ever be able to answer

    I know this may not be able to answer all the questions you have but i hope it helps even just a little x

    had i known before there''s 2% x say 10 ladies = 20% i may have considered my steps (somehow)...

    Dont worry bout it i know how you feel i felt exactly the same

    If you do have it you have to deal with it mentally and physically before you can move on give yourself a few weeks ect to come to terms with it and in the end i promise you. You will reaslise its not all that bad its still not nice having it but you cope with it

    I looked at it as it could have veen worse and some people do have worse it honestly doesnt affect my life too much apart from the odd outbreak but i have been lucky with them and i am in a loving relationship

    Dont let it stress you too much or get you down theres alot more people that have herpes then you think some dont even know they have it and could be lucky enough to never have an outbreak keep your chin up im here if you need to talk x
