Constant gastric pressure/tightness...gastritis?

After some digestive problems for years, and a CT scan with contrast, I was diagnosed with h pylori on stool test. The last day of my antibiotics, I started to feel horrible pressure in my chest/stomach in the middle. It has been constant and doesn't improve or worsen with eating. Basically as if a have a big balloon in my chest. Also I have belching. Since I was on PPI, it is not reflux.

Is this how gastritis feels? I would think I might have heart attack, but gastro from teaching hospital said this is stomach area. And he thinks its gastritis.

I read how ppl have pain after eating etc, but I have pressure...anyone else?

If your specialist has suggested gastritis, I would go along with that. Eat blandly and avoid anything rich, spicy or fatty.

usually after taking all those antobiotics for h pylori, next thing is gastritis.
