Wondering if anyone has similar symptoms.
I have a stomach discomfort that moves around my stomach. Sometimes it's at the top, the bottom, middle, right and sometimes left. It's never severe, on a scale of 1-10 we're probably talking a 2. Pain is manageable just bothersome. Feels like a stingy type discomfort.
I've been to the GP who tested my urine and blood which were normal, then my calprotectin level was slightly raised at 131 (over 200 is positive, under 50 is negative) so they just said I probably have IBD and put me on steroids for a week. Steroids didn't help and gave me horrible side effects like intense leg pain, which stopped as soon as I stopped taking them.
I haven't had my calprotectin levels tested again, despite this being the advice from NICE. I have no other symptoms of IBD, my stools are absolutely normal and regular.
I feel like if I contact my GP again they'll think I'm overreacting but they dignosed IBD based solely on that one slightly raised caprotectin test which wasn't considered a "positive". I imagine because of COVID they are reluctant to refer me for anything else, but worried it could be something more serious.
Any help, insight would be welcome. I'm a 32 year old male, slightly overweight but otherwise healthy.I've had these symptoms now since early November.

Just wanted to update this thread.
I'm still experiencing the discomfort although now its predominantly upper left pain.
I had more bloods run and my calprotectin levels repeated, both came back normal.
I have had another physical exam and they couldn't find anything.
I'm experiencing leg and arm pain again and i get pins and needles in my feet often and pins and needles on my back near my shoulder blade.
