Could this be herpes? I’m really depressed & need to know before I go to the doctors

it does not hurt, and feels like chafing from my panties. i think its irritation from my underwear but ive been doing research and theyre saying it may be otherwise? it feels like nothing- no raised bumps, i just noticed them today.

could anyone with experience give me an idea? it doesnt burn, its not crazy itchy- it just feels like a thigh chafe would. i have bumps no where else and i dont have any of the symptoms. idk if i making up how i feel because of the research i was doing because now im scared. its just uncomfortable to feel
