Could this possibly be Herpes, or just a simple yeast infection?

For the last two weeks I have been having itching in my vaginal area, more so on the labias. I read the treatment for such a thing which was most likely BV or a yeast infection(home remedy) was a small amount of peroxide mixed with water. And so I started doing that. There is has been no burning when I pee, no pain, no discharge, no redness, not sensitive to the touch, no smell, no pain during masturbation, or inserting of fingers, etc. I have not had sex in a few months. And when I did my partner and I always used protection. I was last tested for STI etc in December, and everything came back negative. Today I felt within my vagina and I noticed some bumps, they weren't painful. But I went to the doctor right away. He did a pelvic exam, took a swab, and told me it was a yeast infection and nothing looked abnormal. But he said nothing of the bumps. I asked for STI test and he agreed, but told me they would probably come back negative.  I get my results back tomorrow or Thursday. But I am worried could this be herpes.
