I was functioning took edge off life tho not my exuberant self. I can't bear feeling the way I do. Please some one tell me this will get better. Feel weepy writing this. Hi Claire, hang in there. Fluo seems to work really really well for most people, but like all these meds there is a slow build up and it will take a few weeks before it kicks in properly. Yes it's up and down but bear in mind these meds work slowly which is a good thing. Read through this forum, lots of people struggling/have struggled but once the meds kick in you'll be fine. Just go with it , it will get better.

      Thankyou Cat,

I eventually emerged this p.m.Made myself do some house rearranging which was funny coz I forgot often what I was doing. Stopped before for a bite to eat tho appetite minimal. Exhausted too.

I do hope the change over does work for me.

      Thanks again it does help.

Just keep at it, sounds like you're doing great for this stage! Having things to focus on helps, even something  like making a hot chocolate or going out for  some shopping if you can. Or house rearranging! 😊 The point is to distract your mind so you don't think about it all the time! Well done, you are another day closer to feeling better...

Hi Claire sorry to hear that you feel crap. It's still early days yet with the flux & things will get better it just takes time to build up in your system. I found the first 3 weeks the hardest & I nearly stopped taking flux but then I found this forum & I have never looked back as people on here are going through the same rocky patch or they have come out the other side feeling great. It's 8 weeks today since I started taking flux & I cannot believe the change it has made to my life no more anxiety or depression thou still get tired but even that is getting better plus I've got my appetite back at last - stick in there it will get better & keep coming on this forum because there is always someone to pick you up when you are down xx

      Hi there,

Thanks so much for the positive post. Yeh appetite down. Sertraline had similar side effects early on.Just hoped ide get thru this easier. I am fed up wish ide never started on these chemicals. Tho I have to admit I've needed to take them. Heres hoping Flux does the job.

Thank you so much for your post.

Hi Claire, I have also switched to Fluoxetine from Sertraline. Today is day 8. I wasn't too bad the first few days but yesterday wasn't great and this morning I've awoken feeling down. I am telling myself this is normal and hoping things settle down once they've built up in my system. Let me know how you get on.

      Hi Andrew,

Am also on day 8 or there about. Dreams are bad and are always panicky. Not good.

Had great day yesterday. Today slow due to dreams that's why I'm on here now.

What was the reason for the change of meds.?? Just want to feel more myself. Keep in touch Andrew.

      Regards Claire.
