crying spells

Hi, all. Upped my dose of flu to 40mg almost 1 month ago and I thought I was leveling out, as last week I felt very good, but yesterday I had crying spells most of the day, and I feel somewhat like that today, only not as bad. Has anyone else experienced this when they thought they were about over it and leveling out?

    Yes Karen....do not despair!

I had a few days over the 4-6 week period like that.

I have had the odd day since.

I even upped to 60mg thinking that was the answer - it was not!

Back at 40 now and levelled out much better.

My problem is the days i have a drink... those can be a challenge...

Yes I had a few of those days too but once I reached 10 weeks those days just disappeared. However I have been going out socially again & for the last couple of weeks I've been having about 5 glasses of wine on Sat night & I've been great the next day, but last Saturday I went out to a golf fun day and had 2 bottles of wine & it's now Wednesday and I still feel terrible, shaky, emotional, spaced out....I will not be repeating that again lol xx

Thank you Richo and VaJaJa for your replies. It really helps when others have been there and they share their experiences. I hope to really get leveled out soon!

Hi Vajaja (sorry but this does make me smile smile )

I was told when i started this by a friend that Flu and alcohol absolutely do not like each other.

I have found that like you, if moderation (not sure about 5 glasses...tut!) is observed then things are ok, but if not - woah!!! This was especially true before i got to the point of levelling out.

I am trying not to go beyond the 1 bottle limit at any time, and also find that if i have had none at all - my mood is even better the next day - yay!!!
